Brushing Update …Excellent progress last weekend. From Zastrows to the west, we look pretty good, except low spots that we couldn’t get into and Trail 14 along “J” and Trail 11 along “O”. We will have to wait till after September 30th to see what is left from Zastrow’s to the east. Thanks to the group whom volunteered for brushing.
NEXT BRUSHING WEEKEND SCHEDULED OCT. 8th @/09:00 Meet at Bunnie Hut. Cory/Jim will give directions. We will make an assessment after Oct. 8th, if we need to brush in November.
Following brushing, food to be served @ 6:00p.m. @ P.I. Pub for Brushing Volunteers
Oct. 8th follow-up. Aside from some low areas where no equipment can get into until frozen, trail brushing is basically finished. Again, thanks to all who showed up this past weekend, especially our out-of-state members who showed up to help brushing again, as they do on a consistent basis.
There are a couple of “spurs” that need inspection. Once inspected those will be tackled on an individual basis. No additional brushing will be needed to be scheduled for November ’16.
